Thanks to work by Christian Rüb and Ran it is now possible to build an AoF Cupcake or Froyo version that runs entirely from an SD. So it will not reinstall Qi etc.
This also means you can have another FR distribution in NAND next to a working AoF on SD.

Packager part of Installer branch
A packaging script was added to the installer branch. The script creates the installation tarball for you, like the ones you can download from the project page. It can be used for creating Cupcake and Froyo installation packages.
